Congratulations to Harold Washington College Professor Paul Wandless as he was recently published in the September/October issue of Pottery Making Illustrated. His article is titled, “Printing and Embossing on Clay”. Paul says, “it’s about how to using linocuts to print and emboss images onto clay. After I carve images in linoleum, I’m able to use them to transfer images to clay and create compositions on the surface. I included an image from the article that shows the processes. Some of the clay slabs have printed imagery on the surface and some clay slabs have embossed imagery in the surface.”
Congratulations again! You make us proud.
