Please Encourage Students to CLEP Test Before October 30, 2015

See note below from Donna Kemp in testing – please encourage students to schedule their CLEP exams to earn college credit before October 30, 2015.
EARN COLLEGE CREDIT THROUGH ASSESSMENT EXAMINATIONS!
Visit the Harold Washington Testing Center, Room 402 for more details. 
 
Assessment examinations allow students to earn college credit for knowledge they have acquired through independent study, prior course work, on the job training, professional development, cultural pursuits, native languages, or internships.
CLEP Examinations
Students may earn college credits by successfully completing a College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) General and/or Foreign Language assessment examination.
General Examinations – CLEP gives students the opportunity to receive credit for knowledge previously acquired by earning qualifying scores from over 33 exams in 5 subject areas.
Foreign Language Examinations – Earn college credit for previously acquired knowledge in Spanish or French!
ACTFL Foreign Language Examination
ACTFL examinations are writing tests designed to measure knowledge and ability equivalent to that of students who have completed 2 – 4 semesters of college foreign language study. ACTFL foreign language exams can be taken for Italian, Arabic, Polish, Chinese (Mandarin) or Japanese languages!
Due to limited seating, if you are interested, please apply before October 30th!
