Aon Apprenticeship Launch Event

We gathered today to celebrate the great partnership between Harold Washington College and Aon with the launch of the Aon apprenticeship program.

21 HWC students and 5 students from Harper College are working 3.5 days at Aon, going to school 1.5 days and earning a full-time salary with benefits, with tuition and books included. In two years the students will earn an Associate of Applied Science degree, and earn a full-time job at Aon with tuition reimbursement to complete a Bachelor’s degree.

Chancellor-designee Salgado, Trustee Duque, Congressman Raja Krisnamoorthi, Byron Zuidema and John Ladd from the U.S. Department of Labor participated in the event along with Bridget Gainer and Greg Case from Aon.
